Why isn't my hospital on this list?

Only hospitals with a CMS patient star rating are listed. CMS gives one only to hospitals with at least 100 completed surveys over the reporting period, so many small rural, critical access and specialty hospitals have none, and some hospitals are not required to take part in the survey. A missing patient rating is not a bad rating. Every hospital still has its own page in the New Jersey hospital directory.
