Children's hospitals treat infants, children and adolescents, with pediatric specialists, equipment sized for children and units built around younger patients. CMS records them separately from general hospitals, and many report a different set of quality measures, so a blank figure here usually means the measure does not apply rather than a hospital performing poorly.
