Federal rules require hospitals to publish their prices, including negotiated rates with each insurer and cash prices. We link straight to the price page and file each hospital lists.

Every hospital must post a machine-readable file of its standard charges, including the rates it has negotiated with each insurance plan, its discounted cash price, and the minimum and maximum negotiated rates. Many also offer a price estimator for common "shoppable" services. The files are large and technical; the price page is usually the easier place to start.
For a quick comparison of what Medicare pays different hospitals for the same procedure, see procedure costs. If we don't link to a hospital's prices, it may publish them at a website we don't have on record.
