The median pay for occupational therapy aides in the U.S. was $39,160 a year ($18.83 an hour) in May 2025, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The middle half earned between $35,920 and $46,780.
The highest pay was in North Carolina ($66,190), New York ($46,220), Washington ($45,890), Nebraska ($44,980), Connecticut ($44,840). The lowest was in Mississippi ($24,300), Tennessee ($27,840), Louisiana ($28,560).
About 4,310 people were employed as occupational therapy aides in May 2025.
