The median pay for medical dosimetrists in the U.S. was $147,470 a year ($70.90 an hour) in May 2025, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The middle half earned between $132,080 and $167,030.
The highest pay was in Washington ($189,280), Oregon ($183,990), New Jersey ($170,650), New York ($166,540), Illinois ($163,860). The lowest was in West Virginia ($45,350), Mississippi ($115,490), Missouri ($129,610).
